Mortgage Activity Reports (Trust Deeds)
Trust deeds are the most common instrument used for real estate financing in Colorado. SKLD captures every trust deed recorded in 13 counties – new purchases, refinances and seconds. Historical information is also available, so you have access to seasoned seconds, mortgages likely to refinance, and more – whatever your marketing or research need.
Types of Reports Available
SKLD's Trust Deed Reports give you the broadest view of mortgage activity in the marketplace. Data can be refined as follows or, if these standard reports don't address your needs, ask an SKLD expert about customizing a report.
- New Purchases – Purchase Money Mortgages, trust deeds with a matching warranty deed.
- Refinances, trust deeds without a matching warranty deed.
- Second Mortgages, trust deeds without a matching warranty deed.
- Owner Carried Mortgages, Privately funded transactions where the lender is the previous owner, a broker, discounter or investor.
Reports may include
- Borrowers name and address
- Lender's name and address
- Recording information
- Purchase price (if new purchase)
- Loan amount
- Legal description of the property
- Loan-to-value ratio (New Purchases and Owner Carry 2 only)
- Optional Assessor's data (property type, use type, etc.)

- County, zip code, city or subdivision
- Loan type: Conventional, FHA, VA, Owner Carry
- Rate type: ARM or fixed
- Name of lender
- Whether individual or business borrower
- Loan-to-value ratio at time of purchase (New Purchase and Owner Carry 2)
